Our privacy promise

Use the information we need to run the service—and be clear about it.

WDF uses information to secure accounts, coordinate laundry service, process payments and payouts, provide support, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations. We limit role-based access to what people need for the job and provide ways to ask questions or exercise applicable privacy rights.

Applies to everyone

Shared privacy practices for all WDF products

1. Scope and sources

This policy explains how WDF collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you use WDF customer services, WDFPro, Storefront tools, websites, support, and related services. We collect information directly from you; automatically from your device and use of the service; from customers, providers, storefronts, and other people involved in an order; and from service providers such as identity, payment, payout, mapping, communications, security, and verification partners.

2. Categories of information

  • Identity and contact information: names, email addresses, phone numbers, profile details, account identifiers, and authentication records.
  • Transaction and service information: orders, instructions, addresses, status events, communications, support records, claims, ratings, promotions, and account history.
  • Payment and payout information: transaction status, processor identifiers, refunds, fees, adjustments, and payout records. Payment card and bank details are generally collected and handled by the payment or payout processor.
  • Device and technical information: IP address, device and browser type, app version, identifiers, logs, diagnostics, crash data, security events, and approximate location derived from network information.
  • Location information: pickup, delivery, business, route, and device location when a feature needs it and permissions allow it.
  • Communications and submitted content: messages, photographs, documents, preferences, feedback, and information supplied to support or through the products.
  • Verification and compliance information: eligibility, identity, business, tax, insurance, driving, safety, fraud-prevention, and other records required for the role or by law.

3. How WDF uses information

We use information to create and secure accounts; authenticate users; provide, coordinate, personalize, and improve services; match and route orders; process payments, refunds, fees, and payouts; communicate about transactions and security; provide support; maintain business and tax records; detect fraud and abuse; investigate incidents and claims; enforce terms; analyze reliability and performance; comply with law; and protect customers, providers, storefronts, WDF, and the public.

4. How information is disclosed

We disclose information as needed to customers, providers, storefronts, owners, and authorized employees involved in a service; to vendors that support authentication, cloud hosting, payments, payouts, communications, maps, analytics, diagnostics, support, security, and verification; during a financing, merger, acquisition, or transfer of business assets; and when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service. Vendors are expected to use information only for authorized purposes and protect it appropriately. WDF does not sell personal information for money.

5. Cross-role accounts and order snapshots

The same email address or account may be associated with customer, provider, or storefront roles. WDF uses role-appropriate information for each context. For example, customer-facing records may preserve the customer's name at the time of an order, while provider and storefront records may use verified business information. Information needed to fulfill and support an order may be copied into the order record so authorized participants can use it without accessing unrelated profile information.

6. Retention, deletion, and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing services, maintaining transaction and payout records, meeting tax and legal duties, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and enforcing agreements. Retention varies by record type and legal requirement. You may request account deletion through product settings where available or by contacting us. Some information may be retained or de-identified when permitted or required. WDF uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and privacy rights

You may update certain profile and preference information in the products, manage device permissions in system settings, and use available account-deletion controls. Depending on where you live and whether applicable law covers the request, you may have rights to know or access personal information, correct it, delete it, receive a portable copy, opt out of certain processing, limit certain uses of sensitive information, or appeal a decision. WDF will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request.

8. California notice

For California residents, the categories collected, sources, business and commercial purposes, and categories of recipients are described in Sections 1 through 4 and in the product sections below. Subject to legal exceptions and applicability, California residents may request to know, access, correct, or delete personal information and may use an authorized agent. WDF does not sell personal information for money. To ask whether another California opt-out or limitation right applies to WDF's current practices, contact us using the method below.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as products, laws, and practices change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice or request acknowledgement when appropriate. To submit a privacy request or ask a question, email legal@wdfapp.com. For customer support, email support@wdfapp.com.

Website controls

Cookies and similar technologies

WDF websites use cookies, local storage, session storage, IndexedDB, and comparable browser technologies. Necessary storage supports account authentication, security, fraud prevention, checkout, payment and payout setup, requested verification, environment routing, and consent choices. Preference storage can remember optional interface choices across visits. WDF does not currently use advertising or website-analytics cookies.

When third-party services load

Firebase authentication and Google sign-in support account access. Google reCAPTCHA loads when a storefront user requests phone verification. Stripe loads when a customer starts secure payment or when a storefront starts payment and payout onboarding; Stripe may use temporary and long-lived cookies and device signals for fraud prevention and security. These services receive the technical information needed to provide the requested feature under their own privacy notices.

Your cookie choices

On a first visit, WDF offers necessary-only storage or optional preference storage. Necessary storage cannot be disabled through the website because requested account, security, verification, and payment features depend on it. If preference storage is declined, WDF keeps optional interface choices only for the current browser session where practical. Use the Cookie settings control at any time to change the preference choice. The consent record is retained for up to 180 days before WDF asks again; other storage lasts only as long as needed for its stated purpose or the applicable provider's security requirements.

Customer product

WDF customer privacy

When you use WDF as a customer, we may collect your name, email, phone number, profile and sign-in information; pickup and delivery addresses; precise or approximate location when you grant permission or use a location feature; order details, care preferences, item or issue photographs, pickup and delivery notes, ratings, promotions, and support messages; and payment transaction information from our processor.

We use this information to create the customer account, verify access, check service availability, estimate and finalize pricing, schedule and route pickup and delivery, share the information needed by assigned providers or storefronts, process payments and refunds, show order history and status, communicate with you, handle claims and support, prevent misuse, and improve the customer experience.

Providers and storefront personnel receive only the customer, address, contact, order, care, and operational information reasonably needed to fulfill or support the order. They may not use customer information for unrelated marketing or personal purposes.

Provider product

WDFPro provider privacy

When you apply for or use WDFPro as a provider or driver, we may collect identity and contact details; date of birth and other eligibility information; profile images; home or business address; driving, vehicle, insurance, background, identity-verification, and safety information where appropriate and lawful; device and app information; service zones; availability; precise location and route events when required for active work and permissions allow it; accepted and completed orders; communications; performance, rating, incident, claim, fee, earning, tax, and payout records.

We use this information to evaluate and maintain eligibility, complete onboarding and verification, offer and assign work, coordinate routes and handoffs, display relevant status to customers and storefronts, support safety, process provider payments and payouts, calculate fees and earnings, investigate incidents, prevent fraud, measure performance, and meet tax and legal obligations.

Customers and storefronts may receive provider identity, profile, status, location, route, communication, and service information reasonably needed for an active or completed order. Verification, payment, and payout partners receive the information needed to perform their services under their own notices and terms.

Business product

WDF Storefront privacy

When a business uses Storefront tools, we may collect legal and public business names; business type, registration country, addresses, service area, hours, contacts, representative and owner information; tax, identity, bank, payout, and verification information handled by WDF or its processors; storefront images and listings; services, pricing, machines, capacity, turnaround, order, customer-support, performance, analytics, accounting, and compliance information.

For owners and employees, we may collect names, contact information, invitations, role and permission records, authentication and security events, assigned work, activity logs, operational actions, and communications. Storefront owners control authorized team access and can see activity reasonably needed to manage their business.

We use storefront information to verify and publish the business, manage owner and employee access, display accurate listings, route and fulfill orders, coordinate customer and provider handoffs, operate machine and workflow tools, process payments and payouts, calculate fees and reporting, provide analytics and support, enforce marketplace standards, investigate safety or fraud concerns, and comply with law. Customers and providers receive business and operational information reasonably needed to use or fulfill storefront services.
